COVID-19: The Basics
Let's make it plain.
Your immune system is kind of like Muhammed Ali.
These "fights" your immune system engage in aren't something you'd see with your eyes because you'd need a microscope to see these tiny cells at work. But know, when the cells in your immune system suspect anything in your body that does not belong there.
This reaction is called an immune response and can range from you feeling nothing to you having symptoms like a fever, cough, rash or sneeze. When you see or feel these symptoms you clearly know something is wrong.
The kicker with COVID is that you can have the virus and show NO SYMPTOMS.
You might've heard scientists on the news say you can have the virus and,
be "ASYMPTOMATIC" and pass the virus on to others.
The term asymptomatic means "without symptoms".
But still transmitting the virus through air, surfaces and touching.
THIS is the danger in going out and about or hosting large gatherings.
So what SHOULD you do with all of this information?
